What is underfloor heating?
In basic terms underfloor heating is form of heating system that is laid in the floor of a building and achieves an indoor climate control.
How does it work?
There are types of underfloor heating. Warm water underfloor heating system and electric underfloor heating system. With a warm water system a strong flexible tubing is installed underneath the floor. Because it covers such a large surface area it uses a lot lower temperature to heat up the radiators use making it more efficient as well.
Electric underfloor heating has cables or electric mats installed under the floor.
An underfloor heating system is a more popular way to heat a room as well as it heats a room better than radiators and eliminates cold spots.
